JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide primary care to pediatric patients, focusing on their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our young patients in various settings including hospitals, clinics, and home care environments.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pediatrics and acute care settings.
  • Experience in pediatric care is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to perform data collection for clinical assessments and research purposes.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is a plus.
  • Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on emotional support for children and their families.

    Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in the treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine and best practices in patient care.
