Every year, around 4,200 mothers, fathers, and relatives attend the courses offered by our “Elternschule” – directly connected to the maternity unit at the DRK Kliniken Berlin Westend. To help parents, grandparents, and other caregivers act safely and calmly in emergencies, we offer specialized courses on the initial care of pediatric emergencies.
As a course instructor, you explain in an easy-to-understand way how to properly treat wounds, respond quickly to breathing difficulties, recognize signs of poisoning, and remain calm and act correctly in serious situations – even without prior medical knowledge.

• You independently or jointly lead first aid courses (for 12 to 16 participants) lasting five hours, focusing on emergency situations and first aid measures for babies and children
