Description JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Pediatric Nurse Onboarding Lead Reports to: Client Service Supervisor Job Summary: The Pediatric Nurse Onboarding Lead plays a crucial role at Connect Pediatrics by ensuring the seamless integration of new nursing staff into our dynamic healthcare team. This individual is responsible for providing ongoing support to new nurses and ensuring they are fully prepared to meet the unique needs of our pediatric clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentorship and professional development. Qualifications/Educational Requirements: Valid Texas RN/LVN license Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing Strong leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and MS Office Suite. Responsibilities/essential functions: The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Provide mentorship through careful planning, organization, coordination, and regular review of nursing training and support services, aiming for excellence in patient care. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of nursing training methods and practices, ensuring high-quality care outcomes. Foster positive relationships with clients and staff, promoting a team-oriented culture. Maintain strong connections with patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and support. Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and the capacity to make well-informed decisions. Uphold all relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Policies, ensuring nursing practices meet organizational and regulatory standards. Ensure nursing staff adherence to all operational guidelines and protocols. Service Enhancement: Explore and advocate for innovative approaches to improve and expand pediatric nursing services.
