Austin Health Partners is looking for a Full-Time Experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team at Georgetown Pediatrics & Family Medicine! They will play a vital role in our goal to serve our patients, their families and support physicians in the community.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* Specific to NP

• Board Certified
• Licensed in the state of Texas
• 1 year Pediatric experience required

• Provides patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of the designated supervising staff physician
• Obtains medical and personal histories
• Performs initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Educates patients and families
• Prioritizes and assesses patients
• Provides primary care through wellness visits and assessment
• Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses to a variety of patients
• Maintains standard universal precautions
• Prescribes medications and completes treatments according to office policies and within age-specific parameters.
• Maintains and completes all necessary patient record documentation
• Assist Practice Manager in clinical skills guidance and training for clinical staff.
