Description The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) that is interested in working steady nights. The CRNP will provide patient care services, including assessing and managing patients in the inpatient environment, by following established standards and practices. The CRNP will provide care to neonates, infants and children from birth to 21 years of age and must have a PA license to practice in Pennsylvania. This position will work steady nights, working one 12 hour shift and one 8 hour shift totaling 20 hours per week. FREE On-site parking Free Financial Planning Great Learning Environment Requirements Successful completion of an approved pediatric or family nurse practitioner program required. Possess current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Pennsylvania Possess current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of Pennsylvania. Ability to obtain prescriptive authority in the State of Pennsylvania. This must be completed within 90 days of hire. Analytical ability to evaluate patient care, assists with complex technical nursing care problems, and assists in the development of policies and procedures. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with medical staff, family members and all levels of personnel of The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh. Emotional and mental ability to perform effectively and efficiently under the daily pressures of stressful and/or emergency situations.
