The Position: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work with children in clinic-based settings to enhance their developmental skills, promote independence, and improve overall quality of life. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of developmental need in children. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care activities. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Provide education and support to parents on implementing therapeutic activities at home. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and coordinate care. Stay current with advancements in pediatric occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development Qualifications: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current NC state licensure as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and pediatric conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
