MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Columbia City, IN. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week during the school year, with an ASAP start date. The work environment supports collaboration among multiple SLP professionals, fostering a team-oriented approach to student care and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services following a 3 to 1 model: three weeks of direct therapy followed by one week focused on indirect work.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 56 elementary students.
  • Complete required service logs for Medicaid billing.
  • Collaborate with licensed Instructional Assistants skilled in Indiana IEP software to efficiently set up IEP meetings and manage caseload responsibilities.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings to discuss cases and professional practices.
  • Conduct overflow evaluations as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
  • Must hold an Indiana teaching certificate and an active Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Experience or interest in healthcare, pediatrics, school-based practice, or clinical fellowship year (CFY) strongly encouraged.
  • Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply and will receive guided support.
  • Ability to use Indiana IEP software and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
