A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 educational setting in Canby, OR, serving high school students grades 9 through 12. This contract role starts September 2, 2025, and continues through June 10, 2026, accommodating consistent school-year employment.
The caseload includes 24 students requiring ongoing assessment and individualized speech-language services. Most students present with mild to moderate needs, while a smaller group participates in specialized programs addressing more significant cognitive challenges. The role involves providing targeted therapy and support tailored to the diverse needs of this student population.
An important aspect of the position is supervising an SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) who is onsite twice weekly. Candidates who can provide in-house supervision for a Clinical Fellow year (CFY) at no additional cost may also be considered, expanding the pool of eligible professionals.
Work hours align with the school schedule, Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:50 AM and concluding at 3:50 PM, with a slightly shortened day on Wednesdays. This schedule supports a structured and balanced workweek.
