MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support to K-12 students with mild to severe communication needs in both self-contained and resource classroom settings. The position is contract-based, spanning the entire school year, with multiple openings available immediately through June 12, 2026. The role requires on-site presence in San Mateo, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse communication challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Provide direct intervention in both resource and self-contained classroom environments
  • Document student progress and comply with school and district reporting requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligibility or current licensure as an SLP serving Pediatrics in a healthcare or school setting
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in educational environments
  • Strong understanding of mild to severe communication disorders and intervention strategies

Additional Details:

  • On-site positions with no teletherapy or VOCO services at this time
  • Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support will be provided
  • Role focuses on direct client care within schools
  • Contract duration: full school year (NSY)
