POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ELIGIBILITY TO BEGIN THE CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP YEAR (CFY) UNDER ASHA SUPERVISION, AND ELIGIBLE FOR STATE LICENSURE AS A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST.

This full-semester contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for early childhood development. Located in Glen Ellyn, IL, this role involves working in an early childhood school setting, providing in-person services Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week. The start date is January 23, 2026.
Qualified candidates will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or be a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate eager to grow their pediatric clinical skills. Experience working in schools and familiarity with early childhood populations are highly desirable. Bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply to better serve the diverse student community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students within early childhood education
  • Manage a caseload of fewer than 40 students in one school site
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support communication development
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • CCC in Speech-Language Pathology or current CFY status
  • Pediatric speech-language pathology experience, preferably in an early childhood setting
  • Familiarity with school-based practices and compliance standards
  • Bilingual skills are a strong asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
