POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ELIGIBILITY TO BEGIN THE CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP YEAR (CFY) UNDER ASHA SUPERVISION, AND ELIGIBLE FOR STATE LICENSURE AS A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST.

A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in early childhood education. This role is ideal for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). The position is based at a single early childhood school site in Joliet, IL and requires in-person attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to an early childhood caseload of fewer than 40 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of pediatric clients
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
  • Monitor and document student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • CCC-SLP certification or current Clinical Fellowship Year status
  • Experience working with early childhood populations preferred
  • Bilingual candidates highly encouraged to apply
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and school staff
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently at one school location

Position Details:
