MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) interested in a school-based setting serving K-12 students in North Hollywood, CA. This role focuses on pediatric populations and offers a supportive environment with flexibility to accommodate preferences related to age groups and caseloads. The position is set for the upcoming school year with both full-time and potential part-time schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide treatment and therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication goals
  • Complete thorough report writing and documentation in compliance with school requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active or pending California SLP license, or eligibility to apply for licensure
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in school settings is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for managing caseload and documentation
  • Passion for working with pediatric populations and commitment to fostering effective communication skills
