MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located in Hazlet, NJ. This 33-hour per week, contract position runs from September 4, 2025, through June 18, 2026, offering the chance to work with a diverse early childhood and elementary caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to students, including those in general education, autism spectrum disorders, specific learning disabilities (SLD), and early reading intervention (ERI) programs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student development and educational goals
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey SLP license and Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) certification required
  • Experience in pediatrics, school-based settings, teletherapy, or clinical fellowship year (CFY) strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in delivering direct therapy and conducting evaluations
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
