POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ELIGIBILITY TO BEGIN THE CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP YEAR (CFY) UNDER ASHA SUPERVISION, AND ELIGIBLE FOR STATE LICENSURE AS A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Detroit, MI, for the upcoming full school year starting August 26th. This contract position offers five openings to dedicated professionals passionate about supporting childrens communication and development.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 60 students, with exact details to be confirmed. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality speech and language services that prioritize each students individual needs. Candidates will engage with students across various grade levels, utilizing teletherapy and in-person methods as appropriate.

Preferred qualifications and experience include:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credential
  • Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, or school environments
  • Comfort with teletherapy platforms and services
  • Eligibility or experience as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinician; supervision is provided internally
  • A genuine commitment to putting students well-being and progress first
