Job Summary: Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions that affect the general well-being of children. Duties will include, but not be limited to: performing examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and screening tests, prescribing and ordering medication as appropriate for patients' medical conditions, and referring patients for further care as clinically appropriate. 100% outpatient position. Monday through Friday with 1/7 weekends from 9AM - 1PM with a comp day. Minimum Requirements: Active Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA are required. Must be in good standing of the Medical Staff of CarolinaEast Health Systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions affecting the well-being of children. Perform examinations, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medication, and refer patients for further care as needed.
