EDUCATION

  • Medical degree in medicine from an accredited school.
  • Completion of a U.S.-based residency program required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Two (2) years of direct work experience preferred.
  • Must be mature, flexible, intellectually alert, able to command the respect and confidence of inmates and staff, and philosophically committed to the objectives of the facility.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Licensed to practice as a physician or pediatrician in the state in which the facility is located.
  • Professional license must remain on file at all times at the facility where services are rendered.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee pediatric policies, participate in chart audits, and ensure quality standards
