JOB TITLE: PEDIATRICIAN (MD/DO) Company: Living Water Clinic - Clinica Agua Viva   POSITION OVERVIEW: Living Water Clinic - Clinica Agua Viva is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Pediatrician (MD/DO) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, fostering long-term relationships with patients and families while ensuring high-quality, evidence-based treatment. As a Pediatrician, you will play a key role in promoting children's health and well-being, managing acute and chronic conditions, and educating families on preventative care. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses in newborns, children, and adolescents. * Conduct routine wellness visits, immunizations, developmental screenings, and preventive care. * Offer guidance on nutrition, growth, and behavioral health, ensuring holistic care for patients. * Collaborate with parents and caregivers, addressing concerns and providing education on child health and development. * Supervise and support physician assistants and nurse practitioners in pediatric care. * Provide urgent care and emergency medical interventions as needed. * Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records (EHRs), ensuring timely documentation. * Coordinate referrals to pediatric subspecialists when necessary. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic performance. * Engage in community outreach and education programs, promoting pediatric health and wellness. * Attend team meetings and compliance discussions, contributing to the clinic's mission and strategic goals. REQUIREMENTS: * Medical License: Must hold a valid medical license from the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California. * Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics. * DEA & Furnishing License: Valid DEA registration and ability to prescribe medications. * BLS/CPR Certification: Must be current. * PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification preferred. * Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required. * Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills in pediatric care. * Strong ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families. * Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical documentation. * Dedication to pediatric health and wellness, with a commitment to serving underserved communities.
