JOB SUMMARY

We are a patient-focused dental practice specializing in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. Our mission is to create positive, comfortable, and fun dental experiences for children while also providing exceptional orthodontic care to patients of all ages. We are looking for a motivated and caring Dental Assistant with experience or interest in both pediatric and orthodontic settings to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in pediatric dentistry and/or orthodontics preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented, professional, and dependable
  • Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental clinic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist pediatric dentist and orthodontist during clinical procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, treatment rooms, and equipment
  • Take digital x-rays, impressions, and intraoral photos as needed
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment instructions, and appliance care
  • Manage patient flow and help maintain a calm, positive environment for children
  • Charting and accurate documentation in patient records
  • Assist with orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing brackets, wires, and retainers.
  • Provide chairside support for pediatric procedures including cleanings, sealants, fillings, and behavior management techniques
  • Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • Support front office team when necessary (scheduling, patient communication, etc.)
