We remain driven by our value of excellence in quality care for all and fostering a culture that embraces dignity of all.  Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor of the Opioid Treatment Program, The Peer Recovery Supporter’s role is to support others in recovery from a substance use disorder. They will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering individuals on medication-assisted treatment, to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. The Peer Recovery Supporter must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships. The Peer Recovery Supporter will act as a clinical support within the department, assisting in the functioning of the clinic and being highly involved in the day-to-day operations of the program. They will be responsible for clinic coverage on a regular basis, including assisting with clinical services, UDS screens, and case management as necessary.
