Peer Support Specialist for Women’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
Responsibilities:The Peer Support Specialist (PSS) provides non-clinical services intended to aid residents/patients in establishing a successful recovery from a dependency on alcohol and drugs. The PSS will provide support and motivation to encourage patients to actively engage in their treatment plan, sustain participation in services, and support their recovery efforts. The PSS leads and/or assists with group therapy for the residents and will be involved in community outreach to treatment and recovery. They will engage with the treatment team in developing service plans to promote a successful recovery. This position will be stationed at Circle Park Behavioral Health’s Women’s Center, an inpatient alcohol and drug treatment facility for women seeking treatment services.
Requirements: High school diploma OR G.E.D. is required. The candidate must be actively engaged in his/her own recovery program with a minimum of one year demonstrated personal recovery and sustained abstinence from alcohol and/or drug use. Also, the candidate must enroll and complete Peer Support Specialist certification within three months of hire.

Starting Salary Range: $38,000-$42,000 and Regular Performance Bonuses
