JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and guidance to individuals facing various challenges, particularly in the areas of mental health and addiction. This position requires a strong understanding of behavioral health systems and the ability to engage effectively with clients in crisis situations. The Support Specialist will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure that clients receive the appropriate support and resources.

EXPERIENCE

  • A background in social work, behavioral health, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in crisis management or intervention is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with addiction counseling practices and motivational interviewing techniques is beneficial.
  • Previous mentoring or coaching experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining a client-centered focus.
