Responsibilities Provide peer support by sharing personal recovery experiences to inspire hope and motivation. Assist clients in developing personalized wellness plans aligned with their goals. Offer crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate situations effectively. Support clients through behavioral health challenges using motivational interviewing techniques. Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate care plans and ensure continuity of support services. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Mentor clients in developing life skills, fostering independence, and strengthening social connections. Requirements Lived experience with mental health conditions or substance use recovery, demonstrating resilience and insight. Knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavioral health principles. Familiarity with mental health counseling techniques, motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling. Experience in mentoring or social work is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in an integrated health setting. Strong communication skills with the capacity to build trusting relationships with diverse populations. Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and record keeping.
