Competencies (6): Person-Centered Supports: 15% Promoting Physical and Emotional Well-Being: 15% Justice, Fairness and Equity: 15% Self-Determination: 15% Advocacy: 15% Ethics/Integrity: 25% Duties and Responsibilities: Provide supports, based on individual needs, to assist individuals to retain employment in a competitive setting. Receive supervision from the Employment Services Manager. Much of the daily operations must be coordinated without direct supervision. Coordinate team approach for development/implementation of the workplace (within the recovery plan for each individual on caseload). Provide employment supports on or away from the job site as needed. Maintain open communication with employers and outside agencies as relevant to individuals. Work to be performed at the local mental health authority and in the community. Provide group facilitation for foster and adoptive parents and youth in care around common issues. Maintain accurate individual records and files according to agency standards. Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree in one of the behavioral sciences preferred. Must be recovering individual of psychiatric services. Understand the vocational challenges and issues facing individuals with psychiatric disabilities. Must have work history and strong ethics. Must be willing to serve as a role model. Valid Driver’s License and must maintain a satisfactory driving record. Depending upon the assignment must be able to work in a variety of settings, weather conditions, and locations. Must maintain PMT and CPR certification. Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office and the internet Work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Work independently; utilize good judgment and possess a strong sense of initiative. Communicate clearly in oral and written form on a constant basis. Physical Requirements: Move weights up to 15 lbs. on an occasional basis.
