PEER SUPPORT WORKER

  • 12 Months Fixed-term, Full-time – 40 hours per week
  • Service operates Monday to Friday. General operating hours are between 8am to 5pm
  • Services is based out of our Papakura Hub (while the real work happens in the community)
  • Pay Band: $25.00ph - $30.00ph (Service falls under Pay Equity. Pay is determined by qualification and equivalence to the National Certificate of Health and Wellbeing L4)

As a role model and peer, you will be inspiring hope through sharing your own story of recovery with those who are looking at moving towards different choices and options in their lives.
The role of Peer Support Worker will require of you to build a relationship with others based on shared experience of recovery from AOD.
The relationship fosters mutual learning and growth and is strongly focused on supporting people to make positive changes in their lives.
