EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) platform development.
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) required; CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) or CLSA (Lead System Architect) is a strong plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strong experience in Pega platform (v8.x or higher), including:
• Case Management
• Flow Rules, Activities, Declarative Rules
• Data Pages, Data Transforms
• Decision Rules and Integrations
• Expertise in designing and implementing Pega applications, using best practices and guardrails.
• Experience with Pega integrations:
• REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, JMS, Web Services, Connectors
• Strong knowledge of PRPC database concepts and performance tuning.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in version control tools (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices in Pega (e.g., Deployment Manager).
• Experience working with App Studio in Pega highly desirable.

OPTIONAL / NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Familiarity with Pega Robotics or RPA.
• Experience with Pega Customer Service, Pega Marketing, or other industry frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud deployment models (Pega Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• .Net Service framework, standard secure coding practices, Scrum tools Rally/Jira, Service Now
• Java/J2EE background is helpful for integrations.

SOFT SKILLS

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills – able to work with business analysts, architects, and QA teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong team player with ability to mentor junior developers.

• Design, develop, and test Pega applications and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, BA, and Product Owners.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, design reviews, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance of Pega applications.
• Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
