JOB SUMMARY:

InnoVet Health is an innovative and rapidly growing small business providing health IT services to U.S. federal government agencies, particularly the Department of Veteran Affairs. innoVet Health is looking to hire a Pega Developer to join our team. As a Pega Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications built on the Pega platform. You will be working closely with the business analysts and other developers to understand the requirements and design of the applications.

As a Pega Developer, you should have experience in Java and JavaScript programming. You should also be familiar with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
Responsibilities
· Develop, customize, and maintain applications built on the Pega platform to meet client needs.
· Collaborate with business analysts and other team members to gather and understand application requirements and design specifications.
· Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Java and JavaScript to implement application features.
· Perform rigorous testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
· Deploy applications on server environments and manage the deployment process.
· Work closely with project managers to ensure alignment with customer needs and business architecture requirements.
· Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure continuous system optimization.
· Integrate company databases, legacy systems, and online services to enhance application functionality.
· Address and resolve complex application issues, including performance bottlenecks and code errors.
· Conduct system performance tests and optimize the application’s performance.
· Ensure system security and data privacy compliance by maintaining strict control over sensitive system programs.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Pega Developer with a track record of successfully building and deploying Pega-based applications.
· Advanced expertise in Pega PRPC 5.x/6.x/7.x development, including application design and implementation.
· Proficiency with J2EE, XML, Java, JSP, and EJB.
· Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and a strong ability to work in cross-functional teams.
· Solid understanding of web technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML.
· Proficient in coding languages including Angular JS, Java, JQuery, and familiarity with related front-end technologies.
· Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting complex software issues and resolving performance bottlenecks.
· Knowledge of JAVA, .NET, and Pega scripting languages.
· Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
