Reporting to Team Lead, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems. In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Developing and configuring applications using the Pega Platform. Assisting in diagnosing and resolving technical issues within Pega applications and potentially handling support projects. Testing new features and contributing to the overall quality of Pega solutions. Working closely with business analysts, senior developers, and QA testers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participating in Code reviews, daily stand-up meeting and contributing to process documentation. Adapting to changing business needs and upskilling in the Pega Platform. A background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), good logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Experience with the Pega Platform, though some junior roles might focus on developing familiarity with it. Basic knowledge of Java is beneficial as the Pega Platform is built on Java. Familiarity with SQL databases and their functions is often required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A focus on delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlines. Defining and promoting PEGA best practices, ensuring adherence to standards. Basic knowldge in Java and JavaScript, as well as experience with other relevant technologies like SQL, XML, and HTML. Identifying and resolving technical issues, bottlenecks, and bugs within the PEGA applications Strong agile/scrum development experience, experience interpreting user stories and applying the appropriate technical solutions to deliver operational results Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams. QUALIFICATION Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers ). Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. EXPERIENCE Overall IT experience of 3+ years of IT experience. Must-Have: Strong PEGA hand-on experience. Experience in React and Angular technologies. Experience with various integration methods like REST APIs, messaging, and queue-based integrations. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, SQL Deep understanding of PEGA PRPC architecture and all related design and implementation features. Integrate PEGA with other systems, and participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality Hands-on development, code reviews, and collaboration with various teams and stakeholders Defining and promoting PEGA best practices, ensuring adherence to standards. Excellent communication and influencing skills Ability to work in fast paced environment Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives. Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required.Should have good understand on how to write Unit test cases.
