Position Summary: Accommodate Guest's needs by greeting them in a timely professional manner and providing them with information pertaining to menu and "How to Pei Wei". Fulfill orders placed by Guest's for dining in or for take away in person, by phone or on-line. Essential Functions: * Process phone orders in a timely manner * Takes and processes customer orders into POS system. * Processes and totals order on POS system and apply customer payment into register. * Processes credit cards, takes cash and makes correct change for customer payment. * Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant. * Packages take home orders for customers. * Tabulate data regarding bills, total amounts, restaurant expenses in POS system. * Follow dress code. * Work around various levels of temperature, including warm to extremely warm temperatures in the kitchen. * Maintains a solid knowledge of products and services available in unit * Cleans and stocks work area * Maintains dining area and rest rooms Requirements: Education and Certifications: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: * Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system. * Understanding of English language. * Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to Customers, Employee and Management. Qualifications Competencies: * Basic math skills and computer proficiency. * Ability to work in a team environment. * Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure * Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. * Must have integrity, honesty and accountability in all dealings. * Must be committed to quality service. Working Conditions: * Physical activities that require considerable use of your fingers, arms and legs. * Ability to stand for extended periods of time. * Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction. * Must be able to see at 20/20 vision with correction.
