OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, particularly in women’s health. This is an independent contractor position and not an employee-ship. Flat fee rentals based on space use are available and preferred although a split revenue may be negotiated.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
  • Experience as a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist with Women’s Health focus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on patient care.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and treatment planning.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with medical standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
