One Elephant Integrative Health Team is seeking a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to complete our multidisciplinary team. We are an award winning, women-led clinic with a collaborative model, and officially opened our doors on December 1st, 2019. The current disciplines are chiropractic medicine, psychotherapy, naturopathic medicine, nutrition services, physiotherapy, social work, and massage therapy.
We are looking to add a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist who also provides Orthopedic Physiotherapy to meet the demands of patients at the clinic. We have won “Best Massage Clinic”, “Best Chiropractic Clinic”, and “Best Medical Clinic” among 16 awards two years in a row through Oakville’s Reader’s Choice Awards.
Given the clinic’s unique emphasis on collaborative care, the practitioner must be open and willing to work together with other health professionals both internal and external to the clinic.

Compensation is a competitive split percentage of total earnings. The clinic provides a fully equipped physiotherapy room with a electronically raised table, manual therapy supplies, IFC and Therapeutic Laser equipment, as well as acupuncture supplies. We also provide reception services, linens, laundry on site, cleaning supplies, infection control supplies, standard office supplies, and marketing support for the practitioner’s growth.
The practitioner is an independent contractor and responsible for the payment of his/her own income taxes, pension contributions, malpractice insurance, benefits and any other taxes or fees he/she may incur. The clinic will provide general clinic liability insurance which covers the practitioner within limits of the insurance.

Qualifications:

• Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, in good standing
• Completion of the following with Pelvic Health Solutions or equivalent: Levels 1-3 Pregnancy, Pelvic Girdle Pain and the Pelvic Floor Course
• Any previous experience treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction an asset but will consider applicants who are early in their pelvic health training
• Practice encompasses using a biopsychosocial framework
• Willingness to participate in continuing education
• Desire to be a part of a dynamic, passionate team devoted to providing the highest quality of evidence-based/informed treatment
• Possess individual liability and malpractice insurance per college requirements
• Positive, friendly, dependable and hard-working
• Have exceptional patient rapport
• Have experience with marketing and networking endeavors for practice management
