Clinical Expertise & Service Development Provide specialised pelvic health physiotherapy services, both within the acute trust and other external organisations. Act as a leader in pelvic health awareness, addressing local service needs and promoting best practices. Assess and manage complex clinical risks, including identifying serious bladder conditions such as cancer and coordinating urgent care. Education & Supervision Supervise, mentor, and assess qualified physiotherapists, assistants, and students on clinical placement.
Contribute to training programs for staff and external healthcare professionals. Patient Care & Multidisciplinary Collaboration Provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions. Work closely with urology teams to support patients in a clinic setting, ensuring early identification of critical conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care pathways and promote holistic rehabilitation.
