About the role Conveniently located between Esk and Gatton, in a picturesque spot, our Brisbane Valley Feedlot carries approximately 3500 head of cattle. You'll join a small crew of 7 people and work a lifestyle friendly 10/4 roster. The primary focus of our livestock hands is to ensure the health and welfare of our cattle is maintained to the highest possible standards. Working closely with other team members, you'll do this by safely and efficiently: Monitoring livestock on horseback (Pen riding) Facilitating stock movements, processing and cattle handling in a low stress environment Diagnosing animal health symptoms and administering treatments Performing animal husbandry activities Accurately capturing and recording livestock data What's in it for you?
