Opal Creek feedlot is conveniently located in the Darling Downs region, west of Toowoomba and is one of Australia’s most modern facilities having undergone significant expansion and infrastructure improvements to accommodate 30,000 head of cattle across a range of markets from long fed Wagyu, through to short fed domestic supermarket cattle.

Responsibilities

Our Livestock Hands are primarily focussed on monitoring the health and welfare of our cattle on horseback, but also get to enjoy variety and cross skilling in cattle handling and processing activities. Working a 10/4 roster, you’ll join a hardworking and positive livestock team who are committed to the highest standards of safety, animal welfare and quality outcomes.
