Ensure our products meet the highest quality standards by inspecting and approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. Support team members in daily activities to achieve output, quality, and delivery goals. Apply your knowledge of ISO (International Standards Organization), AQL (Acceptance Quality Limits), and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance) to maintain excellence at every step. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Approve incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement tests, and rejecting or returning non-conforming items. Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting inspections, and communicating adjustments to the production supervisor. Recommend process improvements where applicable. Perform 1st piece inspections, in-process inspections, and approve finished products using visual, audio, and measurement tests. Troubleshoot issues to determine root causes of non-conforming assemblies. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and entering data into the quality database. Assist in creating, developing, evaluating, and documenting quality procedures and systems to drive continuous improvement. Maintain measurement equipment by following operational instructions, performing calibration checks, and requesting repairs when needed. Train co-workers on best quality practices relevant to their roles. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and compliant work environment by following standards, procedures, and regulations. Identify opportunities and implement process improvements. Perform all other duties as assigned. What You will Need to Succeed: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Experience assembling small products or components. Strong verbal communication skills. Experience using hand and light power tools; knowledge of measurement techniques with micrometers, calipers, gages, and coordinate-measuring machines (CMMs). Familiarity with ISO, AQL, GD&T, and other quality systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capability to provide constructive guidance to co-workers. Physical Demands: Some material handling, standing, lifting, bending, stooping, and sitting.
