Lagos, Nigeria Job Family Group: Finance Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: June 2, 2026 Business Unit: Finance Experience Level: Early Careers Job Description: Pension Administration & Operations Conduct routine existence verification for about 4,200 pensioners. Provide end to end administration of pension matters, including liaison with Pensioner Association offices across the country. Ensure timely processing of pensioner requests, enquiries, and complaints Liaise with IT to deliver and manage an effective and efficient Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool Manage the SNCPFA website and ensure contents are updated regularly Support the delivery of annual pensioner surveys and quarterly pensioner engagement sessions. Stakeholder & Relationship Management Provide technical support to Pensioner Associations, including representing SNCPFA at meetings as required. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including PENCOM, Shell HR, and Pensioner Associations. Contract & Reporting Responsibilities Act as Contract Holder for the annual calendar production and distribution, and other service contracts that enhance pensioner value propositions. Manage vendor and contract performance in line with CMCP requirements. Prepare and submit periodic regulatory reports to PENCOM. - Key Competencies Excellent Communication Skills : Clear, confident, and empathetic communication with a diverse pensioner demographic, underpinned by fairness and inclusion. Business Partnering: Strong relationship building skills across internal and external stakeholders. Commercial Mindset: Ability to evaluate supplier solutions and make evidence based decisions that optimise cost and service quality. Continuous Improvement: Openness to innovation, continuous improvement, and smarter ways of working. Outstanding Service Delivery: Ability to organise and deliver customer service objectives while continuously improving service quality to meet diverse stakeholder needs Knowledge of Digital IT applications – Ability to use digital applications to improve service delivery and overall pensioners’ experience Qualifications, Skills & Experience A minimum of 8 years’ relevant functional experience. Graduate with background in Administration, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage Demonstrable experience in the administration of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes and strong knowledge of PENCOM regulations, guidelines and circulars. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and empathise with an ageing pensioner demography. Proven commercial mindset with the ability to deliver results through suppliers and stakeholders. Working knowledge of contracting processes in line with CMCP. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder‑management capabilities. Ability to perform effectively in ambiguous, pressured, or emotionally sensitive situations.
