BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Pension Technical Analyst to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Responsibilities
  • Working within pension administration, delivering & servicing operations requirements
  • Pro-actively assist and ensure all service level agreements and performance standards are met
  • Proactively promote the use of agreed procedures / training notes throughout operations
  • Be a point of refence on operations & non-standard transactions.
  • Check and challenge work performed by less experienced colleagues and ensure changes are undertaken correctly when required.
  • Regulatory reporting responsibilities as and when demands are made by regulators
  • Proactively identify and pursue changes to processes to improve business line efficiency.
  • Be a primary liaison point, for colleagues and key clients, for all pension admin enquiries
  • Ensure that continuous improvements are maintained to the highest possible standards
  • Train, support, and mentor junior colleagues and hold feedback sessions when required
  • Assist in complex/project work when required including complaints.
  • Participate in project work within the teams to foster continuous improvements & innovation.
  • Take ownership of complex enquiries and see through to the end doing whatever research is deemed necessary to complete the tasks
  • Be a contact point for in-house technical enquiries
