Job Title: People Advice Manager (Interim)
Location: Home-based, occasional travel to London (expenses paid)
Contract: 3 months, starting 8 September 2025
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm
IR35: Inside IR35
Day Rate: £250 per day

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced HR leader to join a leading national charity, managing the delivery of a first-line HR service across a large, complex organisation. The post holder will lead a team of 13 HR professionals, balancing operational delivery with strategic input. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for managing complex employee relations cases, coaching HR staff, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and employment law.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Strong HR background within social care or a similar sector.
  • In-depth understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance.
  • Experience leading HR teams and managing change programmes.
  • Strong employee relations expertise, with proven case management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
