An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Advisor role within the People Operations function. This is a core role within our team where you will be required to:
Provide comprehensive, high quality, day to day operational support to the HR Managers for specified Directorates/Corporate business teams on the full range of Human Resources issues, to enable them to carry out excellent people management practices.
Embed the Trust values by contributing to the development and application of strong employee relations and business focused HR policies and procedures.
Work closely with line managers across the Management/Clinical Groups/Corporate Services providing appropriate guidance and advice on all aspects of HR in line with the Trust’s HR Policies and Procedures.
To work closely with the HR/OD Advisory Team providing advisory support to their nominated Directorates/Corporate business areas.
To provide first line advice and support to line managers and employees on the interpretation of all people related policies, processes and procedures, e.g. Agenda for Change, Medical terms and condition
Provide a direct link for the Directorate/Corporate teams to the wider Workforce Directorate and follow through on contacts to ensure required advice is received.
To provide advice and manage all aspects of the recruitment and retention process within agreed quality standards in their designated areas of responsibility. To provide recruitment and retention advice to other designated areas as appropriate.
To conduct disciplinary, grievance and performance management investigations and provide support to the manager involved as well as attending disciplinary hearings.
Support with the facilitation and administration of the job evaluation process.
