Our values are Care, Excellence, Creativity and Empowerment.About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced People Advisor to join our team on a 12-month maximum-term engagement or secondment. The People Advisor will provide HR advice and support to business leaders and project teams across a broad range of people management activities, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, remuneration, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations. Reporting to the People Manager your responsibilities will include the following Support the delivery of HR strategies, initiatives, and people-related programs across the business. Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and leaders on performance management, employee relations, and workplace matters. Build strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, influence, and collaboration. Assist with policy review, remuneration benchmarking, and continuous improvement of HR practices. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and people-focused initiatives to drive positive outcomes. Promote employee wellbeing, EAP awareness, diversity, and an inclusive workplace culture. Mentor and support junior HR team members while ensuring compliance with John Holland policies and procedures. About you Certificate, diploma or post-secondary qualification in HR, IR/ER, Education, Psychology or Business essential. Demonstrated HR experience, including leading projects, implementing people initiatives and delivering positive outcomes Knowledge of employment legislation, government policy and regulatory frameworks desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen. As part of the team, you can help us transform lives.
