About the opportunity

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior HR Consultant to support approximately 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand.

Operating as the senior HR contact locally, this is an autonomous role with a strong focus on employee relations and stakeholder management. You will work closely with commercial, operational and functional leaders, providing practical HR advice and managing complex people matters.


Duties

  • Manage complex employee relations matters, grievances and investigations
  • Coach leaders on performance management, employment policies and workplace matters
  • Provide advice in line with employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Partner with senior commercial and operational stakeholders
  • Manage sensitive people matters and escalate higher-risk cases where required
  • Support organisational change and employee consultation
  • Monitor HR trends and data to identify areas for improvement
  • Contribute to improvements across HR policies, processes and case management

Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience within a Senior HR Consultant, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner capacity
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR practices
  • Experience partnering with senior and commercially focused stakeholders
  • Confident working autonomously within a regional or global HR structure
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within a shared services or Centre of Excellence HR environment advantageous
  • Workday or similar HRIS experience advantageous
  • Healthcare or medical device experience is not essential
