We’re looking for a People & Culture Advisor to join our dynamic team at Summerset’s Head Office in Wellington. As part of our large and collaborative People & Culture team, you’ll play a key role in supporting leaders across the Village Operations Business Unit. Your day-to-day will include: Deliver fair, consistent, and evidence-based ER advice, supporting leaders through issues and change management initiatives. Partner with leaders to build capability and embed best practice across all aspects of people and culture. Collaborate with our P&C Shared Services and Centres of Excellence to implement strategic people initiatives. Champion employee engagement and initiatives that enhance psychological safety and wellbeing. About you: You’re an experienced People & Culture professional who thrives on building strong relationships and providing trusted advice. You'll also bring: Experience in employee relations, including supporting disciplinary processes and ensuring compliance with employment law. A strong generalist HR background with exposure to performance management, and organisational development. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills – you’ll be confident advising and coaching leaders. A proactive, solution-focused approach and a genuine passion for creating a great employee experience.
