Job Description Our People & Culture (P&C) team within our Personal Injury Division (PID) are seeking a P&C Business Partner to join our national team. This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide where we offer wonderful flexibility, allowing you to work from home multiple days a week. This is a true business partner role, where you will offer support, guidance, and advice to the Managers within the brands in your portfolio. You will be seen as a trusted advisor who will support and deliver our strategic P&C projects which support the overall business' strategic objectives. Day to day, you will: Provide coaching, support and advice to people leaders in your portfolio in relation to managing the performance of their team members Undertake investigation and case management activities as required and in line with policies, processes and best practice Ensure that grievances, complaints and ER & IR matters are handled promptly and sensitively and provide timely and appropriate advice and support to people leaders Manage, deliver and monitor the performance management program for your brands including coordination of the annual performance review processes Support the WH&S team with Health and Safety for the team members including any WorkCover claims, workplace incidents and injuries and supporting the leaders with their RTW processes for injured team members Respond to queries in relation to P&C policies, procedures and programs Facilitate training and provide coaching to ensure ongoing development in people practices Manage, coordinate and support the delivery of P&C projects, programs and people initiatives which support retention and engagement of our people and enhance our EVP Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will bring: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline desirable HR Generalist and business partnering experience Working knowledge of the National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act and Modern Awards Demonstrated experience in the management of a broad range of ER & IR matters Pragmatic with a solution focused outlook Displays sound judgement, initiative and professionalism Excellent communication and negotiation skills Experience in coaching and developing others Ability to adapt to changing environments Additional Information What we offer: Hybrid and flexible work arrangements Professional Development opportunities and other employee benefits Corporate Health Insurance discounts Salary sacrificing (pre tax) and Novated Leasing Gym and Swimming Pools corporate discounts across Australia via Fitness Passport Our teams make a difference to the community that we serve - be it through volunteering, helping to raise funds or working with our network of health providers, we connect our community partners to the support they need.
