Job Description We are looking for a People and Culture Business Partner who is curious, commercially minded, highly proactive and solutions orientated. You will be someone who thinks strategically, quickly gains credibility with leaders, is able to influence outcomes and has demonstrated experience lifting capability, performance and staff retention of a large workforce. Role Reporting directly to the GM People and Culture, you will be the primary HR Partner for the VIC / TAS Senior Operations Manager. You will provide strategic and operational advice that connects people outcomes to business performance. You will regularly visit sites to understand the business and emerging people issues and translate these into practical and actionable people solutions. Specifically, you will: Provide trusted HR advice to leaders Provide timely expert guidance on ER/IR matters and conduct workplace investigations Implement performance, capability and talent frameworks Facilitate bi-yearly talent assessments, succession planning and agreed actions Ensure all cyclical HR activities are delivered to a high standard Utilise people data to guide decision making Collaborate with Safety, L&OD and MedHealth HR teams Lead assigned projects and support change initiatives Qualifications You are a practical and approachable HR professional who takes initiative, sees opportunities early and brings fresh thinking to complex challenges. You value strong relationships, high standards and taking action to deliver measurable outcomes. Specifically, you will bring: Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience, including complex case management Strong IR/ER knowledge and workplace investigation skills Expertise across all HR disciplines Proven ability to translate business issues into practical people solutions Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence A curious, proactive, solution-oriented mindset Excellent coaching and communication skills Tertiary qualification in HR or demonstrated work experience Experience working within a large compliance driven or geographically dispersed workforce is desirable This role has hybrid working, a combination of remote working and working at any larger atWork Australia's locations in Melbourne.
