JOB DESCRIPTION

As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting UAC’s people strategy, ensuring a seamless employee experience, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys recruitment, is highly organised, and wants to grow in all areas of HR services.

You will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end recruitment – managing job ads, coordinating interviews, liaising with candidates, and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding – welcoming new employees with engaging inductions and exit processes.
  • First point of contact – providing advice in line with policies and escalating as needed.
  • Culture & Wellbeing Initiatives – leading events and activities to enhance employee engagement and workplace wellbeing.
  • HR Administration & Compliance – maintaining and updating records and systems, and ensuring compliance with policies and legislative changes.
  • Project Support – contributing to People and Culture initiatives, research, and data analysis.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a passionate, driven and collaborative professional with:

  • Experience in recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset, eager to learn and grow within HR.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in HR systems and databases (highly regarded but not essential).
