About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi As a People Applications Advisor, you will deliver expert guidance and technical support for People & Culture processes, ensuring data integrity and system optimisation across ACC’s people systems. You’ll be the functional subject matter expert for our Oracle HCM and related platforms, supporting the end-to-end people and position management process, and collaborating with leaders and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of ACC’s services, supporting our mission to keep Kiwis safe and well. This position is suited to individuals with proven experience in people systems, particularly within the mechanics of government, and a strong working knowledge of Oracle platforms. About you | Mōu We’re looking for candidates who meet the required skills and experience for this role. If you have the capabilities outlined below, we encourage you to apply. Have at least three years’ experience in HR processes and regulations, especially those related to position management, organisational structure, and workforce planning. Have experience in a people systems role within a government or public sector environment. Are proficient in Oracle HCM and have a sound understanding of Oracle PeopleSoft HRIS. Demonstrate advanced skills in M365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, flows, forms, lists, planner). Have experience managing data in complex, evolving environments, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Are skilled at providing expert advice, analysis, and reporting on HR systems topics, issues, and risks. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, supporting collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Understand business priorities and can align technology opportunities accordingly. Are committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in your work. This role requires you to be eligible to work in New Zealand.
