Employment Type -  Temporary Part Time Hours per fortnight - 64  Job Category - Administration - Human Resources Req Id - 8559    Become a vital member of a dynamic and busy HR team  Ongoing training and professional development | supported work environment Temporary part-time role (64 hours per fortnight) until 18/04/2027   About the role As a People Assist Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support across the People and Culture Directorate. Working collaboratively with the Workplace Contracts and Support and People Assist teams, you will provide timely and accurate assistance to managers and employees across Barwon Health on a range of employment, payroll, and workforce-related matters. This role is ideal for a customer-focused administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.  Key Responsibilities  Manage and resolve employee and manager HR/payroll enquiries, including triaging, escalating, and responding to People Assist tickets in a timely manner. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation across HR systems, ensuring compliance with information management, privacy, and organisational standards. Provide administrative support to the Workplace Contracts and Support team, including reporting, document preparation, records management, auditing, and regulatory compliance activities. Collaborate with team members to coordinate workloads, support service delivery, and undertake general administration and reception duties as required.   What we’re looking for  Relevant qualification in Human Resources (Certificate III or higher) and/or demonstrated experience in HR administration, including contract processing. Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities, multitask effectively, and adapt to changing business needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional correspondence and build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
