Position: People Business Partner - Business Associates - People Function Context: Titan has more than 3000 stores across the country of which 80% are franchisee stores with approximately 17000 retail staff and another 4000-support staff. This workforce is in our stores, and they deliver our brand promise to our customers. The BA People Function team influences and shapes the people practices for one of our most critical stakeholders – Franchisee/ BA. This has been set up with the expectation of establishing & delivering people practices through the businesses, with the end objective of delivering seamless customer experience across Titan’s company stores & franchisee stores. This team will work closely with the Head HR-Business Partner and the leadership team across businesses, regions & COEs. Reporting Reporting: Head (Divisional Manager)- Business Associates People Function Role Description Develop Strategy, own the execution & deployment of the People practices across Titan’s Associate network. Work closely with the Corporate HOD & Business HOD to ensure implementation of People practices for associates. Meet and greet with the business associates. Review hiring support and review hiring framework for associates Drive awareness and adoption of initiatives planned for building capability of Business Associates on key people practices & processes such as assessment processes, productivity, performance management, development, career conversations & progression, retention, wellness etc. Support participation of associates in Engagement surveys and compilation report Benchmark best practices from Titan/Tata Group to associates and their employees (insurance) Manage connect with the regional retail team and manage any escalations / grievances raised by the employees appropriately as per the guidelines. Desired qualifications, skills, and experience Master’s in business administration In-depth understanding of HRM concepts and functions Around 10-12 years of work experience in HR Exposure to handling HR for a distributed work force model is an added benefit. Behavioral Competencies Ability to handle & influence multiple stakeholders especially with Retail team & Associates. The role holder needs to have a good conceptual knowledge and the ability to translate strategy into action. Ability to establish trust - Relationship Building is a critical success factor for getting things done. This role is expected to work with multiple stakeholders and is largely playing in the sphere delivering through influence. Manage & deal with ambiguity -There is high level of ambiguity & complexity. Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment, to shifting work demands and to the needs of various individuals and groups. This requires ability to deal with ambiguity & agility in scale.
