We’re looking for a People Business Partner to temporarily strengthen our People & Culture team during a maternity leave. As a true strategic partner to the business, your mission is to make working at Effectory a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You’ll be operating right in the heart of our dynamic, people-centric, and ambitious organization in Amsterdam.
As People Business Partner, you’re the strategic link between People & Culture and the business. Together with Michiel (People Business Partner), you’ll support team leads and employees across the employee lifecycle - from onboarding to exit. You’ll empower our leaders, coach for development and manage ER-related matters.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll help make sure HR processes run smoothly, provide guidance to team leads, and be a trusted contact for employees. You act as a sparring partner for (senior) leaders and help them align people and business goals, build team capability, and drive cultural and organizational development.

YOU ALSO BRING:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a similar role (People Business Partner, HR Advisor, or jr. HR Manager)
  • A solid track record in advising leads/managers and supporting organizational changes
  • Solid knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR practices
  • A proactive, approachable and people-centric personality
  • We’re looking for someone fluent in English; speaking Dutch is a plus
  • Availability for 32 hours per week for a period of approx. 6 months, starting October 1st

Responsibilities
  • Act as strategic HR partner for Effectory (senior) leaders, enabling leadership empowerment and people enablement
  • Advise and coach on performance, career growth, learning & development, and talent planning
  • Handle employee relations topics
  • Support key people-related projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with our occupational health and safety provider and coordinate absence management
    You’ll be part of a warm and dedicated People & Culture team of 6: CHRO, 2 People Business Partners, a People Operations Specialist, a Total Rewards Specialist, and a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
