Narvar is growing! Narvar is a late stage, fast paced startup and we’re currently looking for a People Business Partner to set the tone for Narvar’s culture. You will be responsible for driving people-focused strategies and solutions within a particular business unit and ensuring their successes align with the overall direction of the business.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 - 5 years experience in HR, preferably in a Business Partner role
  • Experience working with senior management, providing strategic thinking and the ability to translate strategy into plans for execution
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities with a sense of urgency and the ability to pivot quickly based on changing needs of the business
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to be used to build strong partnerships
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply appropriate HR laws, guidelines, regulations and policies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle issues ethically and with integrity
  • Preferred: PHR or SHRM-CP certification
Responsibilities
  • Establish strong partnerships with employees and management to communicate, interpret, consult, and educate on various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
  • Serve as a change agent and member of your organization’s leadership team to help drive strategic growth plans and objectives within the business unit
  • Act as liaison between management and each facet of HR in order to meet its People related goals and needs, including talent management and workforce planning, facility/building needs, onboarding and retention, succession planning, total rewards strategy, employee development and growth, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader People Team to identify training needs, create training content, and educate employees and management as needed
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to managers and leaders on a variety of actions including employee relations issues, talent management and development and driving employee performance
  • Analyze trends and relevant HR metrics to develop solutions, HR programs and policies
  • Program development and management: Develop timelines for annual programs, own the lifecycle of HR programs.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of responsiveness and urgency when working with stakeholders in order to formulate trust, lead change, and catalyze motivation
  • Attend department management meetings to educate, facilitate discussion, maintain a consistent understanding of the organization’s needs and goals, and provide strategic insights
  • Conduct frequent stay interviews with employees and working with peers to present them to management in meaningful ways
  • Manage and resolve all employee relations issues for your business unit, conduct thorough and objective investigations, and partner with Legal as needed
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of HR laws and regulations, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Consults with Legal as needed.
  • Partner with various team members and managers to create, oversee, facilitate, and participate in projects as needed
