Under general direction, develop data-oriented insights and solutions for business groups including but not limited to, People Care (HR), Store Operations, and Strategic Business Services. Provides information-based, actionable solutions to enable enhanced business insights and support the Company’s strategic and Human Resources-centric goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as:
  • Business Analytics
  • Industrial-Organizational Psychology
  • Human Resources or Human Capital Analytics
  • Behavioral Economics
  • Statistics, Sociology, or a related quantitative social science
  • At least 3 years of experience in a corporate HR, people analytics, or business insights role, with proven ability to turn data into strategic recommendations. Comparable experiences in non-profit or public sector settings is equally valued.
  • Applied experience conducting workforce analyses related to attrition, tenure, employee sentiment, or workforce planning.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SAS) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong communication skills with experience translating statistical findings into business insights for stakeholders at various levels.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Applied Statistics, Organizational Psychology, or an MBA with a focus on analytics or HR strategy (Data Science welcome if focused on strategic analysis).
  • Experience with Workday (or similar HRIS systems) and employee feedback platforms,
  • Working knowledge of regression analysis, clustering, survival analysis, and forecasting techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to create thematic analyses from qualitative and quantitative data sources.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level dashboards and executive reporting environments.

Responsibilities
  • Provides insights and strategic direction to key stakeholders; applies methodologies to future strategic decisions, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, talent lifecycle, employee engagement (Voice of the Employee), and retail staffing models.
  • Designs and executes scenarios and analyses to evaluate impact of business decisions; including but not limited to employee tenure, employee attrition, employee sentiment (quantitative and qualitative), overall employee experience, workforce management support, and identification of inter-dependent levers.
  • Researches and analyzes key business drivers, competitive environment, opportunities, trends, and existing operating metrics based on data; formulates business direction in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders; ensures insight can be leveraged for future business decisions.
  • Executes quantitative analyses, qualitative analyses, and advanced modeling; translates data into actionable insights.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers analytical findings, resulting in decision support or models; communicates findings to stakeholders and aids in translation of requirements to data development partners.
  • Develops predictive modeling to assess future scenarios.
  • Conducts statistical analysis to formulate conclusions and recommendations based upon existing data and dashboards.
  • Communicates complex and technical results of analysis to stakeholders, sponsors, and executive leadership.
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, techniques, trends, and strategies.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
